Lieutenant Leake won a clasp or second V.C. for devotion to duty at Zonnebeke, 8th November 1914, where he rescued a number of wounded men, under heavy fire. He won his first V.C. at Vlakfontein, South Africa, on 8th February 1902.


Later achieved rank of Lieutenant Colonel.
Died in 1953.
